Low float

On a low float, the cap table is the chart.

Sub-10M floats are where momentum's physics get extreme: the same catalyst that nudges a mid-cap 4% can move a 1.8M float 60% and halt it twice on the way. Scanning them is less about price patterns and more about structure: float, borrow, and who's selling into the move.

Float bands are different regimes, not different sizes

Sub-2M, 2M to 10M, 10M to 50M: these aren't gradations, they're different games. In our episode set, an FDA catalyst on a sub-2M float shows a +48% median 60-minute maximum gain and a 62% halt rate; the identical event class on a 10M to 50M float shows +14% and 12%. A scanner that doesn't band by float is averaging across regimes and telling you about neither.

And float figures rot. They change by filing: an offering closes, a lockup expires, a split lands. And most data feeds trail the truth by days. Every float on our boards carries the date of the filing it came from. Treat any float without a date, anywhere, as a rumour.

The dilution screen decides the trade's direction

A low-float gapper with an active ATM on file is selling into its own move: the company is the seller your breakout needs to absorb. That's not a reason to skip the name; it's a reason to know which side you're on. The template flags active ATMs, fresh S-1s and months-of-cash, because longs and shorts read the same flag in opposite directions.

Borrow state completes the picture: hard-to-borrow plus a fresh catalyst is the squeeze precondition, easy borrow rewrites the short's maths. We show the state rather than filter on it: both are tradeable, differently.

The founding cohort is 1,000 seats.

We admit 1,000 traders at a time because that is the largest number whose feedback on radar accuracy we can actually work through before opening the next batch. Applications are admitted in order; the intake asks what you trade, and answering it moves you up.
